Amber & Jeff | Engagement

I met up with Amber and Jeff about two weeks ago at their Iowa City apartment. We grabbed a few pictures inside before heading out on the town and then headed to a hiking area to end the day. You will being seeing more of these two soon; their September wedding is coming right up!

Danielle & Blake | Engagement

I think it's kind of normal for photographers to go on about how awesome their couples are. But they kind of have every right to if their couples are as great as mine...I'm a bit biased, but I think I get the best of them anyways.

Sarah & Chris | Wedding

Sarah and Chris' wedding was beautiful and a fantastic way to start off the 2012 wedding season! Sarah was absolutely radiant! Both her and Chris are wonderful people to work with, I'm so glad I got to be a part of their wedding day! I can't think of a better way to spend St. Patty's day...if you don't believe me, the pictures further down from their reception don't lie. It was an amazing day!

Valentine's Special

This February I have decided it was time to do wedding package special. With all those red hearts, super soft stuffed animals, and delicious chocolate everywhere I go, a thought occurred to me: Why not find a way to celebrate Valentine's Day with my photography business?

A Benefit for Josie

Saturday, February the 18th there will be a benefit for Josie with food, music, and an auction!
Josie and her family are from the same area of S. Iowa I grew up in. Her grandma was one of my High School teachers, and I have also had the privilege of taking some family photos for them back in 2009.
This brave little girl was born with a rare tumor. She has been and will be taking trips to New York City for treatment from a specialist. The flier below sums up the details:

Josie's family and friends are putting together this benefit to help out her family throughout this process. I've donated a family photo session for the auction and I hear there are many great things being auctioned off!
